An Intelligent Context-Aware Web Browser For Assisted Research
Modern web browsers are optimized for contentnavigation and rendering rather than informationunderstanding. Researchers and students often rely onmultiple browser tabs to gather information, which leads tocognitive overload, fragmented context, and reducedproductivity. Although recent AI-powered tools provideassistance in summarization and question answering, theytypically function as external add-ons and lack continuousawareness of user intent and browsing context. This paperproposes an intelligent, context-aware web browserframework that actively assists users during researchactivities by understanding content semantics, tracking userintent, and providing real-time insights such as summaries, comparisons, and knowledge connections. The proposedapproach aims to transform conventional browsers frompassive interfaces into proactive research assistants, therebyimproving research efficiency and user experience
