Metabolomic Characterization of Streptococcus dysgalactiae subsp. equisimilis : Different Metabolic States in Planktonic and Biofilm Forms and the Influence of Streptokinase
gene led to drastic changes in both energy and structural metabolism. These findings provide new insight into the metabolic adaptations of SDSE and represent an initial step toward understanding its role in pathogenesis.
