D1.2 User and stakeholder requirements and detailed UC scenarios
This deliverable defines the user and stakeholder requirements and develops detailed use case scenarios for the NEVERFLAT project, establishing the foundation for the design, implementation, and validation of smart and bidirectional EV charging services. It introduces a structured, user-centred requirements framework that translates user needs, stakeholder roles, regulatory conditions, and operational constraints into traceable technical specifications. The work identifies and maps the roles and interactions of key actors within the charging ecosystem, including charge point operators, e-mobility service providers, grid operators, OEMs, and additional service providers, enabling coordinated data exchange and service delivery across organisational boundaries . The deliverable further defines site-specific use cases and scenarios aligned with pilot environments, covering services such as load shifting, peak shaving, V2G operation, tariff optimisation, and renewable energy integration. These scenarios are supported by holistic user journeys that capture both end-user interactions and underlying system processes. A core outcome is the requirements engineering framework, which structures, prioritises, and maps user requirements to system components and partner responsibilities, ensuring traceability and alignment across the project. This framework provides the basis for subsequent system design, KPI definition, and pilot validation activities . Overall, the deliverable establishes what the NEVERFLAT system must achieve from a user, stakeholder, and operational perspective, supporting the scalable deployment of interoperable, reliable, and user-acceptable bidirectional charging solutions in real-world conditions.
