The Quantum Field as a Continuous Recursion Medium
Quantum field theory is the most precisely verified framework in physics — QEDpredictions match experiment to twelve decimal places — and this paper does notchallenge its results within their domain of validity. Instead, it develops the geometricsubstrate from which quantum field behaviour emerges in the Cohesion Unified FieldTheory. The quantum field is interpreted as a continuous recursion medium: a pressurebearing substrate whose local torsion density, curvature, and recursion rate determinepropagation, interaction, and collapse. Wave functions are recursion patterns in themedium; particles are stable closure modes of recursion established in Papers 18–23;entanglement is shared structural time and collapse is structural time synchronizationas established in Paper 29. The new contributions of this paper are: (1) the vacuumas the recursion ground state of the medium, providing a pressure-bounded accountof vacuum energy that avoids the vacuum energy catastrophe; (2) a unified table ofall four interactions as torsion density or phase alignment effects in the same medium;and (3) propagation as pressure-driven recursion, unifying wave propagation, particlemotion, and field excitations under a single mechanical rule. This is the first unifiedgeometric ontology of the quantum field within the Cohesion UFT framework.
