Geometric Origin of Dark Components: A Causal-Asymmetry Hypothesis

This work presents a geometric–causal–asymmetry hypothesis in which the apparent dark components of the cosmological energy budget — dark matter and dark energy — are not new physical entities but emergent consequences of the causal structure of the cosmological horizon system. Ordinary baryonic matter, together with the geometric scales R_H (Hubble radius), R_EH (event horizon), and R_PH (particle horizon), are taken as the only fundamental inputs. Under a causal-asymmetry sign-reversal postulate, the gravitational influence of baryonic mass in the spherical shell between R_EH and R_PH on an observer at the origin reproduces the Friedmann acceleration H ²·( _ − _m/2)·R_EH at the event horizon. Equating these two expressions yields the ₀ Ω Λ Ω central identity: ( _b / 2) · (R_PH³ − R_EH³) / R_EH³ = _ − _m / 2 Ω Ω Λ Ω which agrees with Planck 2018 measurements to 0.30%. A robustness scan over alternative cosmologies confirms that this agreement is not a tautological consequence of flat-FRW geometry. Combining this single identity with the observed flatness condition _m + _ = 1 yields explicit Ω Ω Λ predictions for all three remaining cosmological density parameters in terms of _b and the horizon Ω geometry alone: _m = 2(1 − X)/3, _ = (1 + 2X)/3, _c = _m − _b Ω Ω Λ Ω Ω Ω where X is the left-hand side of the central identity. Numerically, the predictions match Planck 2018 measurements to 0.02% ( _m), 0.23% ( _ ), and 0.02% ( _c). The 95% of the cosmic energy budget Ω Ω Λ Ω that CDM attributes to unobserved components is, in this framework, a derived consequence of the Λ observed baryon density and the horizon geometry. The hypothesis additionally provides a natural geometric interpretation of the MOND acceleration scale a = cH /(2 ): the factor 2 is the cosmic circumference scale, and a corresponds to the gravitational ₀ ₀ π π ₀ acceleration whose Rindler horizon equals 2 ·R_H. This connects galactic rotation-curve phenomenology πto cosmological geometry through a single causal structure. Open theoretical questions include the first-principles derivation of the sign-reversal mechanism and the framework's self-consistent dynamicalextension.
