First records of pseudoscorpions (Arachnida) associated with two species of the genus Chalcolepidius Eschscholtz, 1829 (Coleoptera, Elateridae) in Mexico

We report new biological associations between pseudoscorpions (Arachnida) and click beetles of the genus Chalcolepidius Eschscholtz, 1829 (Coleoptera, Elateridae) in the states of Hidalgo and Tabasco, Mexico. These associations confirm that a correlation can be established when habits are shared. These findings increase the pho-retic records between these biological groups in Mexico, highlighting the need for further study of this biological relationship.
