La formation d’une jeune fille “fin-de-siècle” à la lumière des écritures de soi : modèles et projets littéraires dans Ma vie et mes idées de Renée Vivien

This abstract dedicated to Pauline Tarn’s self-writings, more known for her work published under the pseudonym « Renée Vivien », develops an historical and literary study about the end-of-the-century young women’s formation. The demonstration presents literary models and projects that appear in Pauline Tarn’s juvenilia and shows that the promotion of traditional prosody in the poetic work of early twentieth century’s authoress can be linked to a specific musical formation given to young women at the end of the nineteenth century.
