HUMAN FORGETFULNESS PREVENTION SYSTEM (HFPS)

This paper presents the design and implementation of a Human Forgetfulness Prevention System (HFPS), aimed at reducing hazards caused by human forgetfulness in daily life. The system focuses on scenarios such as leaving kitchen appliances (e.g., induction stove) switched ON, which can lead to safety risks. The proposed system uses sensors and microcontroller-based automation to monitor appliance usage and detect inactivity or unsafe conditions. If a potential hazard is detected, the system provides timely alerts to the user. In case of no response, it automatically switches OFF the appliance to prevent accidents. The HFPS system enhances safety, reduces energy wastage, and provides a smart solution for modern households. The implementation is cost-effective, user-friendly, and can be extended to multiple real-life applications. This work contributes to the development of intelligent safety systems using embedded technology and IoT concepts.
