Perturbative Analytical Framework for Thermal Wave Diffusion in Non-linear Building Envelopes
This repository contains the Python source code required to reproduce the numerical benchmarking, spatial convergence analysis, and physical validations accompanying the article: "Perturbative Analytical Framework for Thermal Wave Diffusion in Non-linear Building Envelopes". The provided scripts implement a frequency-domain solver based on the continuous spatial Riccati equation, extended via regular perturbation theory. This framework addresses the 64-bit floating-point overflow inherent to the standard Transfer Matrix Method (TMM) and circumvents the state-space inflation required by spatially discretized methods to model non-linear material degradation.
