HIGM v0.3: Inertial Cooling and the Cosmic Redshift

The third iteration (v0.3) of the Higgsonian Inertial Gravity Model (HIGM) introduces the concept of "Inertial Cooling". This paper proposes that cosmic redshift is not a result of the metric expansion of space, but a loss of energy in photons as they overcome the inertial resistance of the Higgs vacuum over cosmological distances. This mechanism provides a new perspective on the Hubble constant and offers a potential solution to the "Hubble Tension" by redefining the relationship between distance, time, and energy loss.

Abstract

The third iteration (v0.3) of the Higgsonian Inertial Gravity Model (HIGM) introduces the concept of "Inertial Cooling". This paper proposes that cosmic redshift is not a result of the metric expansion of space, but a loss of energy in photons as they overcome the inertial resistance of the Higgs vacuum over cosmological distances. This mechanism provides a new perspective on the Hubble constant and offers a potential solution to the "Hubble Tension" by redefining the relationship between distance, time, and energy loss.
