Front Cover: Copper‐Catalyzed Sequential Azide‐Alkyne Cycloaddition (CuAAc) and Ullmann Coupling: A Tandem One‐Pot Synthesis of Quinazolino[3,2‐ c ][1,2,3] Triazolo[1,5‐ a ]‐Quinazolin‐14‐One (Eur. J. Org. Chem. 15/2026)
The Front Cover shows a copper-catalyzed tandem strategy that enables the efficient synthesis of triazole-fused quinazolinones through a multicomponent reaction of 2-bromophenyl quinazolinones, sodium azide, and terminal alkynes. Integrating CuAAC and Ulmann-type C–N coupling under mild, ligand-free conditions, this method yields diverse polycyclic N-heterocycles with broad substrate scope.
