The Silent Factory: Tacit Knowledge, Digital Twins, and the Invisible Infrastructure of National Defense
Examines tacit knowledge vulnerability in defense-critical SME manufacturing through a Swedish steel fabrication case study. Applies SECI knowledge conversion model, Actor-Network Theory translation moments, and boundary object typology to digital twin methodology for knowledge externalization. Proposes three falsifiable propositions linking knowledge digitization to defense supply chain resilience.
