Semantics Map for TUS Triad v1

Abstract The Semantics Map for TUS Triad v1 defines the primitive-to-pointer grounding layer for TUS Triad receipt stacks. It specifies how semantic primitives exposed by canonical receipts and triad-level artefacts are grounded in concrete JSON Pointer paths, and it establishes the citation allowlist discipline that governs what may be cited in refs and meta_refs during downstream validation and reporting. The document is a mapping registry, not a writing rulebook, domain profile, or interpretive guide. It does not determine domain meaning, report posture, thresholds, labels, or narrative conclusions. Its role is narrower and more foundational: to define which emitted receipt and triad surfaces are admissible as grounding evidence for specific classes of claim, and which surfaces are identity-only, descriptive-only, or unavailable for semantic grounding. A central purpose of the map is to prevent interpretive overreach. MANIFEST surfaces are constrained to identity, file-binding, pairing, and joinability use in meta_refs; they do not become semantic grounding surfaces for refs. Audit renders, renderer echoes, convenience mirrors, and duplicated values are excluded unless explicitly allowlisted. LANDING receipt semantics are also separated into canonical field-response surfaces, realised first-step LANDING transition, and distinct continuation endpoint, preventing those surfaces from being collapsed into a single unsupported interpretation. The map also defines scope-prefix handling, wildcard and placeholder semantics, profile-bounded matching, pair-resolution rules, set-level grounding surfaces, and coordinate-system safeguards for rank-space and line-space claims. In v1, it deliberately withholds directional polarity licensing for Phi and delta_p_rank, preventing claims such as “more coherent,” “less ambiguous,” or equivalent directional readings unless a future map version explicitly provides the required primitive and grounding paths. Within the wider TUS OS® architecture, this document functions as a governance-layer specification. It supports independent validation, report conformance, and bounded interpretation by ensuring that claims remain tied to declared receipt and triad surfaces. It is intended to be used alongside the TUS Binding Manual, Core Rubric, Domain Profile, validator/checker configuration, and report templates. Abstract
