Two Models That Agree Beat the Best of Them Alone: Parameter-Free Connected-Component Consensus That Beats the Baseline under the Official BraTS-2023 Metrics

Version 12 (2026-10-05) — dead links and one false bibliographic entry corrected; no result changes. The archive is the published v11 (record 23163000, zip md5 ceba64a7a67540b28dd366bbb1e4a2f6) except for the files listed under 'What changed in v12', and that claim is machine-checked: check_delta_v12.py compares the staged bundle to the v11 inventory file by file and fails on any difference that is not declared. Three corrections were measured on 2026-10-05. (1) Dead links: three guillaume-cassez.fr paths under /brats/ returned HTTP 403 — /brats/ (in both manuscripts, therefore in both PDFs, plus both READMEs and viewer/README.md), /brats/paper1/ (both READMEs and viewer/README.md) and /brats/ranking/ (viewer/README.md). They are replaced by the live paths under /imagerie-medicale/brats/2023-distance-map/ — the viewer, the paper page and the ranking table — each measured at HTTP 200 and present in the site's sitemap. The site is public (/imagerie-medicale/ returns 200), so the 403 were not an authentication artefact. A companion check now resolves every guillaume-cassez.fr and huggingface.co URL of the bundle and refuses the release on any 4xx/5xx, so this class of defect cannot reach a new version unnoticed again. (2) Bibliographic entry: the bibtex block of both READMEs claimed journal = {arXiv preprint}; this work has never been deposited on arXiv (an arXiv API query on its exact title returns 0 results, and the 21 entries returned for au:Cassez belong to a different author). It now reads journal = {Zenodo preprint}, which is what this deposit is. (3) The landing page of the record — isDocumentedBy in .zenodo.json and url in CITATION.cff — now points at the paper's own page rather than the medical-imaging index, so the two citable files agree. Both manuscripts changed, so both PDFs are rebuilt by the shipped build.sh recipe, at unchanged pagination (23 and 25 pages) and with the title, the revision banners and the author block still sharing the same page — the typographic rule set on 2026-09-19, which a longer banner had broken before it was tightened. Nothing else differs from v11: the dataset-provenance note corrected in v11 (50 cases caught by patient-level expansion, not the 0 that v10 printed), the 12 Hugging Face references moved to the guillaume-cassez namespace, the 9 figures, the analysis and data artifacts and data/multiseed/stats.json (md5 fe5d513e…) are all byte-identical.
