Gravitational Lensing: A Window into the Fundamental Properties of Nature

The discovery of gravitational lensing marked a significant milestone in observational astronomy. Massive galaxy surveys, combined with dedicated search strategies, have resulted in hundreds of known strong lensing systems. Consequently, this phenomenon is increasingly seen as a crucial tool in cosmology and fundamental physics. This article reviews selected developments in this field. Abstract
