Circularity in Sequence-Controlled Copolyamides Enabled by Regioselective Enzymatic Hydrolysis
. Computational modeling of enzyme-substrate complexes identified structural features consistent with the observed regioselectivity. Together, these results establish selective enzymatic depolymerization as a viable strategy for the circular recycling of sequence-controlled polymers and provide a foundation for the rational engineering of enzymes for programmable polymer deconstruction.
