Sunbed users aged 18-24 views on sunbed regulation policies in the UK
Indoor tanning before age 35 increases melanoma risk by around 60%, and frequent users are 2–3 times more likely to develop the disease. Despite age restrictions in the UK, sunbed use persists among minors and young adults, highlighting gaps in regulation compliance. Understanding public attitudes towards regulatory approaches could inform skin cancer prevention policy. We conducted a survey to assess support for potential sunbed regulation strategies in the UK.
