USP Field Theory Interpretation of CMS Quark Substructure Limits at 13 TeV

This work presents a USP Field Theory interpretation of recent CMS measurements probing quark substructure down to scales of approximately 10⁻²⁰ m at √s ≈ 13 TeV. The experimental observation of point-like behavior is reinterpreted within USP as a consequence of probing a high-detuning regime of confined oscillatory corridor structures rather than evidence for fundamental point particles. The framework introduces a normalized detuning parameter χ to define regime transitions in oscillatory structure organization. A minimal nonlinear oscillator model is provided to illustrate how the same system can exhibit compact or extended configurations depending on detuning and coupling conditions. The study maps USP concepts onto experimentally accessible collider observables, including effective radius, transverse momentum distributions, and correlation structure. The key prediction is that future higher-energy experiments will reveal deviations from point-like behavior through measurable residuals rather than through discovery of smaller constituent particles. This work maintains compatibility with current QCD phenomenology at accessible energies while proposing a deeper structural interpretation that becomes testable at higher collision energies.
