Tungsten-Mediated Decarboxylative C(sp 3 )–O Bond Formation through Ligand-to-Metal Charge Transfer
)-O bond formation reaction under mild, base-free conditions with irradiation. This transformation employs readily available carboxylic acids as substrates and 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-1-oxyl (TEMPO) as oxygenation reagent. The protocol exhibits a broad substrate scope and has been successfully applied to the late-stage functionalization of bioactive molecules.
