Influence of Adventist Spirituality on Self-Control and Perceived Stress Among Seventh-Day Adventist Adults in Coastal Peru
: Adventist spirituality, particularly personal devotion, was associated with higher self-control and lower perceived stress. Although the cross-sectional design does not allow causal inference, the findings support the relevance of Adventist spirituality as a psychosocial resource linked to emotional well-being in this religious population and justify future longitudinal studies.
