Biological Maturation Is Associated with Single-Leg Jump Performance, but Not with the Magnitude of Inter-Limb Asymmetry
< 0.01). BSA did not differ significantly across maturation stages in any test, except for the single-leg hop. Agreement in asymmetry direction between test pairs was slight to fair (kappa ≤ 0.29). BSA values remained largely stable across maturational stages, suggesting that interlimb asymmetries are established before PHV, likely during childhood. Limb dominance did not affect jump performance, and asymmetry direction varied between tests, confirming they are not interchangeable.
