Evaluation of the Reliability of Radiographic and MRI Angles in Superior Femoral Epiphysiolysis: A Comparative Study
: Findings suggest that while both diagnostic methods are reliable, radiographic measurements systematically underestimate epiphyseal slip severity by approximately 16° compared to MRI. This discrepancy could impact the accuracy of disease staging, leading to potential misclassifications. This highlights the need for a more standardised approach to evaluating SCFE, especially regarding the type of imaging used for angle measurement.
