Auswirkungen der Jahreslängenunterschiede auf die biblische Chronologie - Effects of Year‑Length Differences on Biblical Chronology

English: This article analyses the systematic drift caused by different ancient year‑length models, particularly the 360‑day year in Genesis and the 364‑day year in the Book of Jubilees. Using the Flood chronology (1656 A.M.), the birth of Abraham, and the year 2410 A.M. as examples, it demonstrates how the discrepancy between biblical year counts and real solar time increases cumulatively. The study shows that biblical age statements cannot be interpreted as modern solar years without considering the underlying calendrical structure. This study suggests that the traditional identification of Ramses II as the Pharaoh of the Exodus does not provide the best chronological fit when cumulative year‑length drift is taken into account. The analysis indicates that an earlier historical setting yields significantly better internal and external consistency.
