This module provides background information about data in the everyday world and a basic foundation about experimental design. The module also provides instructions for how to construct data tables in Excel and google sheets, and create scatter plots, line graphs and bar charts, all within the context of the scientific method.

2) Activities. The activities consist of reflecting about the data they encounter in their daily lives, describing the steps in the scientific method surrounding a specific question, and identifying independent and dependent variables and controls.
