The Meta-Network of Natural Movement (Skeletal Perspective)

This paper proposes a conceptual model of natural human movement as a meta-network of axial waves, organized through the interaction of central neural integration and distributed joint-based mechanics. Unlike traditional linear kinetic chain models, movement is described here as a multi-scale, distributed system in which all structural levels of the body simultaneously generate, transmit, and modify motion. The axial wave is introduced as the fundamental mechanical principle underlying movement organization, operating across the spine, limbs, and joints as a coordinated system of dynamically reorienting axes. The model incorporates a layered structure of joint control reflecting evolutionary and developmental organization.A key functional condition of the system is defined as Maximum Dynamic Relaxation (MDR), enabling coordinated interaction without unnecessary mechanical interference. Under this condition, the body operates as a true meta-network with fractal and hyper-network properties. This framework provides an alternative biomechanical paradigm with implications for movement science, martial arts, rehabilitation, and robotics.
