Analysing patient-related barriers to the effective use of digital health solutions in Sarajevo Canton

This thesis focuses on analyzing patient-related barriers to the effective use of digital health solutions, specifically electronic appointment scheduling, electronic referrals, and electronic prescriptions, in Sarajevo Canton.The goal of the thesis is to provide insights that help policymakers and healthcare professionals reduce unnecessary burdens on healthcare institutions and improve overall healthcare service delivery by helping direct users achieve the highest potential of implemented solutions.The research, including an online survey and in-depth interviews, recorded technical difficulties, lack of support from healthcare professionals, and lack of information on the implemented solutions as the most common patient-related barriers in Sarajevo Canton.
