Vpliv fleksibilnosti dela na delovno uspešnost in delovno zadovoljstvo

Amid ongoing technological progress and evolving workplace environments, flexible work arrangements (FWA) have become a key organizational strategy to support employee wellbeing and sustain strong performance outcomes. This thesis investigates how flexibility in work location and scheduling influences both employee performance and satisfaction within the IT sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina -a context that remains underrepresented in the global discourse on work flexibility. The research combines a comprehensive theoretical review with quantitative empirical analysis, focusing on key constructs such as hybrid work, remote work, flextime, and the four-day workweek. The empirical section draws on survey data from IT professionals, analyzed using Python-based statistical methods including correlation and regression analysis. The findings indicate a significant positive correlation between FWA and employees' job performance as well as overall satisfaction, particularly when employees are granted autonomy over their work conditions. While highlighting the benefits, the study also addresses potential obstacles such as managerial resistance, data security concerns, and legal limitations.By filling a significant gap in existing literature and offering practical insights, this research contributes to the formulation of inclusive, sustainable, and productivity-enhancing workplace policies, particularly in transitioning economies.
