To address the active site blocking issue of nanocatalysts, a ligand re‐orientation approach is developed based on electrostatic interactions between layered double hydroxides and protecting ligands of metal nanoclusters. This approach promotes the accessibility of active sites and thus catalytic activity, while preserving the structural integrity of metal nanoclusters.
