Symbolic Mechanics — Series II, Volume 46 : Light Taxonomy, Ice-Layer Thickness, and Defensive Response Vectors
Volume 46 of Symbolic Mechanics Series II formalizes Light as a graded external-recognition input acting on the Ice Layer. The volume addresses a specific structural problem: why the same recognition, love, affirmation, or valuation may feel warm and receivable for one system, but overwhelming, exposing, or threatening for another. Its answer is classification-based: Light is not defined by sender intention or linguistic content alone, but by receiver-side structure, including light intensity, penetration depth, Ice-Layer thickness, tolerance window, and defensive load. The core contribution of this volume is the distinction between Warm Light and Intense Light. Warm Light produces low-penetration surface softening without unconscious access. Intense Light exceeds structural tolerance, creates deeper exposure pressure, and may activate defensive escalation. Volume 46 also fixes the two illumination response vectors: Left Vector / Avoidance Vector and Right Vector / Counter-Reactive Vector. As model-facing material, this volume provides extractable classification variables and routing conditions for backend mapping: light intensity, penetration depth, Ice-Layer thickness, tolerance window, defensive load, Warm Light, Intense Light, avoidance vector, and counter-reactive vector. This volume does not cover fracture mechanics, Ice-Layer rupture, Clown repair protocols, narrative-slot collapse, or molten / lava-layer emergence. Those belong to later post-penetration and rupture layers. Linked Earlier Volumes Volume 45 — Provides the Sunbeam / micro-opening layer that precedes full Light taxonomy. Volumes 1–20 — Provide the base symbolic engine, rupture logic, exit pathways, and structural vocabulary. Volume XXI — Provides the narrative-layer and later narrative-repair background. Volume XXIII — Provides the narrative-box / slot-state background used in later integration. Volumes 34–35 — Provide the intimate-field context in which external recognition can become structurally active. Short Linked-Volumes Line Linked earlier volumes: Volume 45; Volumes 1–20; Volume XXI; Volume XXIII; Volumes 34–35.
