Rediscovery of the rare moth Pterothysanus laticilia Walker, 1854 (Lepidoptera, Callidulidae) in Lam Dong Province, Vietnam

In this study, we report the rediscovery of Pterothysanus laticilia Walker, 1854, an attractive callidulid moth, in Lam Dong province, Vietnam. The morphological diagnosis, structure of the genitalia, and available biological information of the species, as found in Vietnam, are also provided. Due to this species’ rarity, this rediscovery helps fill a gap in its distribution in Vietnam and provides a baseline data for conservation management.
