Journal of Engineering-Themed Environmental Tourism (JETET),
Version 2: Expanded mission statement to include aerospace tourism engineering protocols. Updated Volume 1, to include the formal expansion of the ETET™ framework into Space Tourism and Astro-Engineering. CURRENT CALL FOR PAPERS (Vol 1, Issue 2)JETET is currently seeking submissions for its September 2026 issue. Themes: Overtourism, Reuse Tourism and Harsh Climes Tourism.Abstract Deadline: June 15, 2026. This inaugural research letter, published in the Journal of Engineering-Themed Environmental Tourism (JETET), formally establishes the Engineering-Themed Environmental Tourism (ETET) framework. The research focuses on the mechanical and ecological transformation of industrial brownfield sites into sustainable, high-value assets. It introduces technical protocols for the restoration of coastal environments and natural habitats that have been severely degraded by industrial blight, overuse, and the pressures of overtourism. Key methodologies discussed include the implementation of hover-state platforms and modular stabilization systems—regenerative infrastructure designed to facilitate environmental education and tourism while ensuring zero-impact on sensitive ecosystems. This work aligns engineering-led remediation strategies with UN Sustainable Development Goals 9, 11, and 14. Updated 2026-04-21 to include official ISSN 2979-1995
