High-Performance Pulse Sensing Applications Based on Mn-Doped PbZr 0.52 Ti 0.48 O 3 Ferroelectric Thin Films
Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 (PZT) ferroelectric materials have been widely applied in sensors, actuators, and ferroelectric random access memory (FeRAM) due to their favorable dielectric, piezoelectric, and ferroelectric properties. Despite various studies on the piezoelectricity in PZT, few effective strategies to significantly enhance its ferroelectric performance remain undeveloped. In this work, Mn-doped PZT thin films exhibited high ferroelectric performance, with a residual polarization of 65.6 μC/cm2, alongside improved dielectric properties. Furthermore, a piezoelectric pulse sensor of PZT based on mica substrate was fabricated, and a five-dimensional visualization radar plot was constructed based on time-domain pulse features. This work first applies piezoelectric pulse sensors to psychological stress detection, with advantages in portability and economic applicability compared with photoplethysmography (PPG) and electrocardiogram (ECG). This work provided a feasible solution for long-term psychological stress testing and remote disease diagnosis.
