OsLTPL160‐Mediated Phosphatidic Acid Regulation Is Essential for Cross‐Stress Priming in Rice
Summary statement In natural ecosystems, plants are often challenged by simultaneous abiotic and biotic stresses. However, the crosstalk between these distinct stress signaling pathways remains largely unclear. Using integrated proteomic and lipidomic analyses, we examined the dynamic changes in proteins and lipids associated with salt‐enhanced resistance to Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae in rice. We identified a regulatory mechanism in which salt stress modulates phosphatidic acid (PA) accumulation via OsLTPL160 to promote bacterial resistance. These findings provide important insights into the cross‐priming between abiotic and biotic stresses in rice.
