The F‐Box Protein DWARF1 Controls Plant Height by Modulating MtSMXL6 and MtSMXL7 Stability in Medicago truncatula
Summary statement DWARF1, a MAX2/D3 homolog, specifically regulates plant height in Medicago truncatula by associating with and modulating the stability of MtSMXL6/7. Loss of DWARF1 improves leaf‐to‐stem ratio and forage quality, providing potential targets for optimizing legume architecture.
