A Virtual School Platform with Academic Monitoring and Face Recognition-Based Attendance Using CNN

Conversational AI systems in education often suffer from fragmented tools, limited parent–school communication, and inefficient manual processes such as attendance tracking. This study presents EducationAL, an AI-powered virtual school platform designed to address these challenges through an integrated, multi-role system supporting students, parents, teachers, and administrators. The platform introduces a unified architecture combining mobile and web applications with real-time communication and intelligent services. Key features include automated attendance tracking using face recognition, live session monitoring, AI-driven chatbot assistance (text and voice) for personalized parental guidance, and real-time push notifications. The system also provides administrative analytics and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making.The proposed solution emphasizes usability, security, and scalability while adhering to privacy and ethical considerations in AI deployment. By integrating advanced technologies into a cohesive platform, EducationAL demonstrates a scalable and intelligent approach to modernizing digital education environments. Abstract
