This article presents a critical–propositional analysis of Roberto Lombardi’s Coherence Theory in Higher Identity Types: Analytical Formalization of the Gnomonic Computation Model in confrontation with the Theory of Objectivity (TO). The study examines the conceptual structure of Lombardi’s proposal, especially its articulation of higher identity types, modal logic, gnomonic computation, recursive cosmological structure, and the J-rule from Homotopy Type Theory (HoTT). The paper argues that Lombardi’s model offers philosophically significant intuitions regarding coherence, identity, structural memory, and cosmological computation, while also showing important formal and ontological limitations when evaluated under the modal discipline of the Theory of Objectivity. In particular, the article investigates possible compatibilities with the TO axioms of singularity, boundary, composition, and relational observation, while identifying points of tension concerning primordial Nothingness, infinity as the necessary non-element, informational transcendence beyond the quantum, and the cosmogonic demands of the Absolute Truths. By placing Lombardi’s framework in dialogue with the foundational bibliography of the Theory of Objectivity, its recent modal and testability-oriented developments, and broader references in physics, cosmology, and philosophy of science, the article proposes that the gnomonic model may be more fruitfully read as a speculative grammar of structural coherence than as a complete foundational ontology.
