Owl Semaphore Badge System

Owl Semaphore v3.0.0 is a structural and scientific remediation release of the Owl Semaphore Badge System. This release preserves the approved V₄ algebra, canonical state/operator assignments, accessibility rule, color/orientation semantics, and visual asset set while strengthening the explanatory and scientific framing across the system documents. Major changes include: Added a formal justification for the Klein four-group (V₄) structure, including why the system uses four states rather than two, three, six, or eight. Added comparison against alternative encodings such as binary labels, continuous scales, cyclic rotation groups, and non-abelian operator sets. Added explicit limitations and scope boundaries, including four-state coarseness, the need for future empirical validation, and semantic/cultural interpretation risks. Added story-to-operator bridge paragraphs in the four state documents so narrative examples are clearly connected to the formal transforms. Strengthened use-boundary and ethics language to clarify that OWL states classify epistemic stance, not institutional authority or human worth. Conservatively revised interdisciplinary references and removed or qualified overextended claims. Preserved the canonical layered asset package, including composite previews and layered TIFF masters. The reserved version DOI for this release is 10.5281/zenodo.20468727. The concept DOI for all versions remains 10.5281/zenodo.19473697. This release package contains the v3.0.0 source documents, generated PDFs, integrity hashes, citation metadata, and canonical asset tree needed to reproduce and verify the OWL Semaphore specification.
