Antimicrobial Activity of Silver Diamine Fluoride and Sodium Fluoride Varnish Against Oral Bacteria: An In Vitro Comparative Study
(13.67 vs. 11.00 mm; p=0.001). Adding 3M ESPE Vanish to Riva Star Aqua did not significantly change zones for any species (p>0.05). Conclusions SDF Advantage Arrest, alone and combined with NovaBrighte, showed the strongest antimicrobial effect. 3M ESPE Vanish had no direct antibacterial activity, while NovaBrighte did, highlighting formulation-dependent differences among sodium fluoride (NaF) varnishes.
