Medication Experience and Associated Factors in Older Adults with Multiple Chronic Conditions in Rural Henan Province, China: A Single-Center Cross-Sectional Study
The medication experience among older adults with multiple chronic conditions in our study sample was at a moderate level. Age, marriage status, source of income, medical insurance schemes, duration of medication use, safe medication knowledge, perceived social support, self-efficacy for chronic disease management, and medication errors were associated factors of medication experience for older adults with multiple chronic conditions. Countermeasures should be implemented to improve medication experience in this population.
