Analysis of the Application of Friction Stir Welding of Aluminum Alloys in Modern Mechanical Engineering

An analysis of the application of friction stir welding from the perspective of solving technological problems of welding for aviation and space engineering is presented. Friction stir welding produces high-strength, high-quality welded joints of aluminum and its alloys that outperform traditional welding methods in a number of respects.
