POLYHERBAL FACE PACK IN COSMECEUTICALS: RECENT ADVANCES IN FORMULATION, EVALUATION AND DERMATOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS

Polyherbal face packs have gained considerable attention in cosmeceutical science because they provide safe facial treatments which combine multiple functions and people choose them because they contain natural ingredients. The formulations use multiple herbal components which create combined effects that include anti-acne and anti-aging and skin brightening and moisturizing and antioxidant properties. The formulation strategies of today work to create polyherbal face packs which achieve better stability and product consistency and proper spreading ability and safe use on skin. The therapeutic effects of natural ingredients increase when people use neem and turmeric and sandalwood and aloe vera and multani mitti and rose petals. The product quality assessment process uses evaluation parameters which include physicochemical characteristics and irritancy testing and microbial load and stability studies and dermatological assessment. The modern cosmeceutical research field studies the standardization process and phytochemical profiling and clinical validation of polyherbal formulations. The review presents new information about formulation methods and evaluation methods and dermatological uses of polyherbal face packs which show their capacity to work safely as effective replacements for synthetic cosmetic products.
