Tipping Sacred Cows

Evidence based criminology and criminal justice requires social scientists to be open and willing to consider revising their priors in the face of new evidence. Abstract

Evidence based criminology and criminal justice requires social scientists to be open and willing to consider revising their priors in the face of new evidence. In this introduction to the third issue of Evidence Base, the Editor-in-Chief encourages readers to consider not only tipping sacred cows that need to be tipped, but also, more controversially, murdering them when necessary.
