Turning precision medicine into reality with statistics and data-driven decision making across pharmaceutical development
Ten years after the launch of the Precision Medicine Initiative, its broader impact remains uncertain beyond select genetic and oncological cases. Here, we share our perspective as pharmaceutical statisticians and propose strategic shifts to realize its full potential. Desachy et al. share their perspectives as pharmaceutical statisticians on precision medicine. They find its broader impact uncertain despite select successes, and propose strategic shifts to realize its full potential.
