Asian Citrus Psyllid-Predators Dataset: Monitoring the Effect of Different Abiotic and Biotic Parameters on the Natural Enemies Population
Asian Citrus Psyllid (ACP) is a notorious pest of citrus crops, posing serious threats to the citrus industry globally. Pest control through biological control methods is an important component of the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program. A dataset of ACP-predators was collected to study the impact of these beneficial insects on ACP population outbreaks. Datasets of important ACP-predators such as Spiders, Coccinellids, and Chrysopids, alongside different abiotic and biotic parameters, were collected over the span of 2.5 years. Impact of different abiotic (temperature variants, relative humidity, and rainfall) and biotic parameter (Host plant flush growth patterns) on population dynamics of ACP-Predators was monitored and documented.
