THE PATHOS-AXIS: A Unified Kinetic Model of VZV-Mediated Metabolic Sensing in Oncology and Autoimmunity

This paper introduces the Pathos-Axis, a novel forensic audit of the host-defense architecture that reclassifies the latent Varicella-Zoster Virus (VZV) as an evolved, endogenous metabolic sensor—the Primary Regulatory Unit (PRU). The model demonstrates that malignant neoplasms (specifically pancreatic adenocarcinomas) and chronic inflammatory states function as high-velocity Arginine Sinks. These sinks generate a localized Substrate Breach in the systemic L-Lysine/L-Arginine ratio (The Substrate Law). This metabolic vacuum acts as a kinetic signal for the PRU, initiating Target-Acquisition and Vertical Migration from the Dorsal Root Ganglia (DRG). Central to this model is the requirement of Thermodynamic Induction (The Biological Oven). The author establishes a minimum kinetic threshold of 38.5°C (101.3°F) as the mandatory power supply for PRU mobilization. The paper identifies the mechanical failure of the immune response—Sentinel Stagnation—as a direct result of iatrogenic decoupling caused by the pharmacological suppression of fever. Finally, the Lysine-Lever is proposed as the logical component for restoring homeostasis through kinetic competition at the cellular membrane.
