STUDY ON THE SIGN IMPROVEMENT BY EXTRACTING ISSUES AND VERIFYING EFFECTS USING THE CAPTION EVALUATION METHOD IN A HOSPITAL
Hospitals are one of the most complex buildings, with many renovations and a wide variety of services and functional units. For this reason, patients easily get lost and feel stressed inside the hospital. Therefore, accurate and intelligible guide signs and guiding signs play an even more important role in guiding users to their final destination as easily as possible. Using H Hospital as a case study, we extracted issues, developed a sign improvement design, and verified the effectiveness of the improvement using the "caption evaluation method," in order to accumulate knowledge about the intelligibility of signs.
