Industrial Robotics Adoption in Southern Brazil: Economic Barriers, Implementation Readiness, and Strategic Deployment Approaches

This paper analyzes the main barriers to industrial robotics adoption in Southern Brazil, focusing on distorted ROI expectations, exchange-rate pressure, channel structure, and low implementation readiness among manufacturers. Based on field experience, it proposes a staged implementation approach centered on technical qualification, customer education, integrator validation, process preparation, and technology-to-application matching.
