THE ROLE OF PLANTING AS A HOBBY IN BRINGING UP CHILDREN
In the contemporary world, children are increasingly exposed to digital environments, often limiting their interaction with nature. This article examines planting as a meaningful hobby that supports the holistic development of children. It argues that gardening activities contribute significantly to emotional stability, cognitive growth, social skills, and environmental awareness. Furthermore, planting encourages responsibility, patience, and a sense of achievement. The paper highlights how integrating such simple, nature-based practices into children’s daily routines can positively influence their upbringing and long-term personal development.
