A Study on a Two-Threshold Queue Departure Process andits application to IEEE 802.15 MAC

This paper provides a probabilistic analysis for the departure process of a standalone two-threshold queue and the derived calculation formula is then applied to select the optimal workload aware threshold sequence for IEEE 802.15 medium access control so the effectiveness of a dual-objective optimization scheme is guaranteed.
