Metabolomic profiling of 15 Sempervivum species: a combined approach using mass spectrometry-based dereplication and phylogenetic analysis
• An integrated UPLC–MS/MS metabolomic workflow was applied to 15 Sempervivum species • MS2DECIDE enabled automated cross-validation of structural annotations • Identification of 37 metabolites including newly reported classes • L-Malic and DL-isocitric acid and 2- C -methyl-D-erythritol detected in all the species • Phylogeny–metabolome integration revealed lineage-specific chemical profiles
